Life

Reboot

As a massive introvert, I really, really hate talking about myself in real life…but I love sharing that stuff online. I feel like I do have stories to tell and adventures to share, and if I write about them on my blog, people can choose whether to read about them or not, and I won’t have to endure having any sort of attention drawn to me (the horror!).

It’s been hard to get back into blogging after Nora was born, but having an outlet like this is important to me. So, in order to give my blogging mojo a boost, I decided a redesign was in order! I haven’t updated the look of my blog in years, so now it feels all fresh and new and inviting to me – and it should be much better to view on a phone now, which is how most of us seem to be reading blogs these days.

There are still some things I need to fix (like the content of the menu bar), and the photos in my old posts are kind of awkwardly sized, but everything should be working at this point. Please let me know if you come across something weird.

Here’s to springtime and new beginnings!

Great job! It takes a lot of work to keep a blog up. Well done!

Thanks Jennifer! It’s so easy to suddenly get out of the habit of blogging, and then it’s hard to get back into it…but when I put together a couple of photobooks of old blog posts earlier this year, I realized how much I’ll appreciate having written all of these things when I’m old and grey and reminiscing. ;^)

Love the new look. I read your post, don’t comment always. Makes me feel like a stalker, not sure if that’s good or bad……. But I do enjoy reading your blog, regardless if its about hiking or the wee one, always enjoyable, and the pictures are great.
