November Goals (Paper Version)

First, thank you so much for the kind words about Basil. I wish Wellie could read them too, but I’m giving him lots of hugs for comfort (and Nora seems to be dropping extra food from her high chair so he can comfort-eat).

Second, I made a little scrapbooking area up in the menu for those who are interested. It makes my older blog posts easier to find if you would rather not wade through five million posts about hiking. (If it’s the other way around and you would like to skip this paper stuff and go straight to the posts about hiking, here’s a page with all of my favorite trip reports.)

Third, as I sit here trembling through post-Halloween sugar withdrawals, I have some scrapbook pages to share! For this first one I used one of my favorite photos from this summer, I just love it. So many good things in one snapshot. And that look on Nora’s face!

Love this photo

This one documents the origins of Nora’s most bestest stuffed buddies.

…and this last one is about wrangling my little dirt-lover on our hike to Noble Knob.

Wild Child

Since the dark days of November are upon us and the siren call of tv and computer screens is hard to resist, I’m going to set a goal for myself to make at least two pages for each of my main album categories this month – Nora, On Trail, and Vacations. That oughta get me to hit the paper after Nora goes to bed instead of clicking through the same websites every night.

I love your photos. That first one with the dog in the background is perfect, and your babies eyes in all the pictures – so pretty.

Your layouts are also well designed and put the focus on the pictures.

WOW! Great pages! Not sure what I love the most…the images, the designs or how you placed the embellishments (ie. the hearts). Wonderful and inspiring :)

The pictures….gorgeous, the layout…..simply classic beauty…..but it is your documentation is what truly tells your story. Your writing really shines with personality. Nora is lucky to have these memories captured so well.
